In the early stages, Holdstation, like most startups, focused on Product-Market Fit - creating products to meet specific user needs in order to attract a large customer base that would buy, use, and share them, driving sustainable growth. However, given current trends, an ecosystem built solely around PMF products is not enough. Holdstation is now looking to develop products in line with the Product Fit Community approach, making our offerings easy for both new and existing users to engage with daily, all while maintaining our mission of technological innovation.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when social interactions were limited to online platforms, Social Media 2.0 saw a dramatic rise. This shift also gave birth to the concept of Product Fit Community. Instead of solely focusing on building products that people want to buy, the emphasis moved towards creating a vibrant and engaging community - one that a specific group of people is drawn to and chooses to stay part of. Product Fit Community is realized when a community flourishes, offering its members unique value that they can't find in other products, services, or communities.
This typically occurs when members feel a deep sense of belonging, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share the same values, interests, and goals.
